Essay I. Summary of your activities in your contents including new contents created (one paragraph). Provide all the hyperlinks (clickable) of new contents you have created this week.

I created two new posts dedicated to the video games Boomerang Fu and A Dance of Fire and Ice. These posts also contain images and citations. I also reorganized my menus so that each individual homework post was easier to find through sub-menus.

Essay II. Summary of your “Event” in GA4 (add a screenshot) (one paragraph)

I started by creating a default event that is affected by webpage initialization, a.k.a. when someone opens my website for the first time. I also created an event with the trigger being clicking on any link on the website. This could include links to external sites through references, or links to other posts on my page.

Essay III. Find and describe one of best use cases using custom events in GA4 (one paragraph)

When scrolling through the list of triggers, I noticed there were triggers for user engagement, and the one that interested me the most from that category was scroll depth. Being able to quantify how engaged your users are with each page on your website will help you to more accurately push changes to said website that will drive up engagement and thus increase the success of your business. You can also identify underperforming or overperforming pages and gain a better understanding of what your customers may be looking for in your website.
