Ok, so this one technically isn’t a game that’s out yet, but I played the demo for it the other day and it blew me away to the point where I really felt the need to publicize it on here. Denshattack! (yes the exclamation point is part of the title) is a game where you ride a train at breakneck speeds and perform skateboarding tricks along tracks that absolutely should be written up for countless OSHA violations.

This game has such an incredibly vibrant, stylized art style that draws you in immediately. Playing the game was a little confusing at first, but once I got used to it, it felt intuitive almost instantly and I was performing front 540s and grinding on rails. As a train. From what I got to see of the story in the demo, it seems pretty basic, but all was forgiven once the game started letting me do things like ride on top of a Ferris wheel across a lake:

This game very clearly has had a lot of time, effort and love put into it and I can’t wait for it to fully release. This honestly might be the game I am looking forward to the most this year. Oh yeah, you can also honk your horn to startle the local wildlife. 10/10 no notes.

That sounds like a really fun and unique game concept. The idea of doing skateboard tricks with a train and the vibrant art style makes it seem very creative. I’m curious to see how the full game will look when it releases.
