Make Way is a multiplayer racing game where you and your so-called “friends” race to create and then drive along the most miserable racetracks your twisted minds can come up with. And it’s actually really fun.

Each round starts with you and your opponents each picking a piece to add to the racetrack to make it longer or more complex. Then, you race along it, getting points for making it past checkpoints without crashing and crossing the finish line first, and the first person to reach a certain point threshold wins. This is a concept that starts simple and quickly becomes full-on insanity with things like speed boosting panels, obstacles you can crash into, fans that blow you in certain directions, item boxes that give you items to mess with your opponents, and a lot more.

This game is unfortunately kind of reserved to being a party game you play when friends are over because it hasn’t implemented AI opponents or a good online multiplayer functionality, but that might be for the best. This is the kind of game you pick up every once in a while and have a blast, and isn’t designed to be taken too seriously. There’s always a tipping point when playing this where the stakes go from “how can I screw over my opponents the absolute most” to “how on earth are any of us clearing this” to then hit “whoa that was probably the funniest possible way to do that”. And I would not have it any other way.
