To be completely honest, I have procrastinated way too much on this assignment and cannot for the life of me think of anything to write about on these blog posts. This is why I am currently making a blog post about Tekken 8, a two-player fighting video game that I have been getting into recently.

Tekken 8 features a roster of over 30 characters that all speak different languages (including one that is a literal bear, and another that is a Brazilian wrestler with a jaguar mask that speaks exclusively in growling noises) but can all somehow understand each other. If this alone does not convince you that this game is truly excellent, you may not be the right audience for this poorly constructed blog post.

The character on the left is the one I play the most, and his name is Leroy. His playstyle is heavily focused on reading and countering your opponent’s moves, which I enjoy. Fighting games in general interest me because getting good at them is about improving your knowledge of the game and certain character matchups, along with being able to improvise and adapt when things inevitably don’t go according to plan. Tekken 8 also has a surprisingly in-depth character customization system, allowing me to make characters like the one below:

Thank you for bothering to read all this. If you see me in person, I hope we can both come to a mutual understanding to not bring this post (or the other one I post this week) up. This is not my best work. Thank you.

This post is actually really fun to read because you lean into the procrastination and honesty instead of trying to hide it. The way you describe Tekken 8’s characters makes the game sound interesting even to someone new.
